Essential Job Functions Job Duties Own the end-to-end travel experience; book and manage flights and hotel accommodation for a mobile workforce Act as the point of contact for travel emergencies or last-minute itinerary changes Track travel and ensure all bookings align with company policy Execute weekly payroll with 100% accuracy Serve as the go-to person for employee questions regarding pay, taxes, and perks Lead the onboarding process, ensuring every new hire feels like a VIP from Day 1 Maintain a high-touch, helpful presence whether it's solving a benefits glitch or welcoming a guest to the facility Ability to understand and adhere to all state and federal employment guidelines. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, team members, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in team member disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Supports compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Assist with benefit administration to include company sponsored benefits, leaves, and retirement plans. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, team members, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in team member disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications Required Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Sound judgment in decision-making and establishing priorities Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledgeable understanding of local, state, and federal employment law Proficient computer skills, with additional experience in Microsoft Office programs and HRIS systems Able to work in a face-paced environment Capability to maintain confidentiality Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be capable of working within a team environment and open office setting Individuals must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor, which includes Head Protection, hearing protection; safety eye protection, gloves, sleeves and steel-toed safety shoes, High Visibility Vest.
