Evergreen (Pipeline) Requisition This requisition is used to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities. While there may not be an immediate opening, candidates will be considered as positions become available based on their qualifications and program needs. Odyssey is seeking experienced Test and Evaluation Specialists to join our talent community for anticipated opportunities supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Armament Directorate and other Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. Our Test and Evaluation Specialists support the government with planning, developing, and executing test and evaluation activities for weapons systems and associated equipment across the acquisition lifecycle. They assess system performance, verify requirements, and ensure systems meet operational effectiveness, suitability, and survivability requirements through developmental and operational testing.Duties include, but not limited to:Support test and evaluation activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support) Develop, review, and coordinate Test and Evaluation documentation, including: Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) Test Plans, Test Reports, and Evaluation Reports Requirements Verification Matrices (RVM) Plan and support developmental test (DT) and operational test (OT) activities Coordinate with engineering, program management, and operational stakeholders to ensure test objectives align with program requirements Support test event planning, execution, data collection, and analysis Evaluate system performance against requirements, including effectiveness, suitability, and survivability Identify test risks and develop mitigation strategies Support test readiness reviews and milestone reviews Analyze test data and provide recommendations to improve system performance and program outcomes Prepare and deliver test reports, briefings, and decision support materials to leadership CitizenshipMust be a U.S. citizen Minimum Required QualificationsClearance: Secret Education and experience:Journeyman: Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 7 years of relevant experienceSenior: Associate’s degree and 20 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 15 years of relevant experienceExperience supporting test and evaluation activities within DoD acquisition programs Experience supporting developmental and/or operational test events Preferred QualificationsClearance: Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI Certifications:DAWIA Level II or III in Test and Evaluation or equivalentExperience:Experience supporting AFLCMC or other Air Force acquisition organizationsExperience with armament systems (air-to-air, air-to-surface munitions, missiles, or related systems)Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programsStrong knowledge of DoD test and evaluation processes and DoDI 5000 seriesExperience developing and reviewing TEMP and other test documentationTechnical SkillsTest planning, execution, and analysis (DT/OT)Requirements verification and validationTest data collection and analysisFamiliarity with test tools, instrumentation, and data systemsRisk management and mitigation planningUnderstanding of system performance evaluation and reportingInterpersonal SkillsAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional teamStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to coordinate across engineering, program management, and operational stakeholdersAttention to detail and ability to manage competing prioritiesAdditional InformationLocation:Eglin AFB, FL Travel:May be required up to 10–20% depending on program needs Work Environment:Onsite This is an evergreen position designed to pro-actively identify and engage highly qualified candidates for future openings across Odyssey’s portfolio of acquisition and program management support efforts.
