Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

• Start Date: ASAP• Contract Length: On going looking for locums, locums-to-perm and perm• Shift Details: Average of hr on site shifts per month• Primary ER call coverage about 10 days/month, with 9 patients per day on call days.• Call schedule: primary ER call 3 5 days at a time; MDs provide secondary call coverage, with a CRNA available for anesthesia needs.• Schedule: 24/7/365 coverage model for the ED, shared among PAs/APPs.• Support staff: Providers on call - not always on site - crit access and OB essential for position - OB nurse charge, shift charge nurses, LPNs - lab on-site• Department description: Emergency Department at a small/rural hospital; 24/7/365 ER coverage for community.• EMR: Meditech expanse• Hospital bed size: 25 beds, L IV trauma• Special procedures: surgical experience (assisting in cesarean sections or other procedures) is a plus• Emergency medicine experience required. 3 years + minimum experience• Licensing considered?
