Job #: 203895 Title: Filtration Worker Location: Utica, NY Salary Range: $18.00 Position: Brewery Worker Description: Temp to Hire Filtration Worker BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION The Filterman will perform all filtering duties as well as assist with centrifuge production, batching products, cleaning, inventory, and duties assigned by supervisor. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Function independently as well as a team player. • Must pay attention to detail. • A positive attitude in a demanding repetitive production environment. • Ensure products meet quality specification. • Ability to be frequently exposed to wet conditions and work in the cold. • A variety of other brewery duties as required. This will include learning other areas of the brewing department. JOB QUALIFICATIONS • Have a proven history/record of unsupervised work. • Have a proven history of proactive efforts toward problem solving. • Must be able to lift, push or pull 50 lbs or more repetitively. • Ability to work in a moderate noise environment. • Be safety orientated. • Appreciation and passion of great craft beer! Pay $18.00 as a temp and then if hired we would bump to $19.00There is an apprenticeship program that after completing could be around $22.00 - $23.00.
