Position Overview Contract Length: 8 WeeksShift: 12-hour Nights (6:30 PM 7:00 AM)Hours: 36 hours per week (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)Unit Size: 56 bedsPatient Population: Adults (18+) with diagnoses in Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine.EMR: EPIC Key Responsibilities Provide expert nursing care for complex cases including Cancer diagnoses, ESRD, Diabetes, and GI/Abdominal complications.Manage specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, Chest tubes, and specialty beds (sand beds).Maintain accurate documentation and medication administration via EPIC EMR.Float Requirements: Flexibility to float to other units within the facility as needed.Attire: Navy Blue scrubs. Submission Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must provide a complete submission profile including:Experience: 2+ years of Med-Surg/Oncology experience with documented travel experience (Required).Licensure: Active NY RN License (plus NURSYS verification for all held licenses).Certifications: Current AHA BLS, NIHSS, and Chemo Certification (Required).References: Two recent MS Charge or Manager RN references.
