Associate Support Services Technician

Job Summary: Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within a regional healthcare facility in the Midwest. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical tasks with professionalism and hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Perform floor care including top scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing various floor types using specialized equipment. Conduct detailed cleaning tasks such as edges, baseboards, doors, and transition strips to ensure a polished appearance. Manage supply inventories and place orders for cleaning materials and other necessary items. Inspect assigned areas to maintain high cleanliness standards and report any needed repairs. Assist with window washing, carpet cleaning, and light fixture maintenance. Support housekeeping and laundry duties, including equipment maintenance and proper chemical use. Adhere to departmental standards and participate in training and meetings to enhance performance. Demonstrate excellent guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including reporting any concerns related to abuse or safety. Maintain confidentiality and privacy for all patients and staff. Work collaboratively with team members, offering assistance and fostering a cooperative environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, providing updates and seeking solutions proactively. Respond appropriately in emergency situations and follow safety protocols diligently. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a related support services or maintenance role is advantageous.
