Posting Details Position Information Posting Number SF1167P Position Title Stagehand Position Type Classified Staff/Hourly Department Davis Theatre - Montgomery Division Academic Affairs Campus Montgomery Work Status Part-Time (IPT) Temporary No Location Montgomery - M01 Job Summary The Stagehand position is responsible for assisting the Production Manager with the technical aspects of the theatre operations including but not limited to theatre maintenance, load-ins, load-outs, rehearsals, performances and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Good communication skills 3. Ability to work with a diverse clientele 4. Ability to be dependable Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience and/or training in technical theatre Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility Work Hours - Varies depending on Davis Theatre needs - Ability to work extensive hours including evenings and weekends List any hazardous conditions or physical demands required by this position - Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. - Occasional climbing to assist with theatre maintenance including but not limited to changing light bulbs Does this position have supervisory responsibility?
