Civil Clothing Inc. is seeking a Junior Photographer to join our Marketing team and support the visual storytelling of all our Civil Clothing brands. In this role, you will work closely with the Studio Manager and creative team to bring product and campaign concepts to life across studio shoots. From clean product flat lays to in-studio model shoots you'll play a hands-on role in capturing content that reflects the energy, identity, and quality of the brand.This is an opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and excited to grow within a fast-paced, creative environment. You'll gain experience across both studio operations and marketing execution, contributing to content that shows up across e-commerce, campaigns, and digital channels.What You'll DoPhotography & Studio ExecutionCapture high-quality product imagery, including flat lays, for Civil Regime and Darc Sport in alignment with brand standardsPhotograph garments in a studio environment, maintaining consistency in lighting, composition, and overall presentationExecute both guided and independent in-studio model shootsSample Coordination & Shoot PreparationPartner with sample coordinators to ensure all marketing samples are organized, accounted for, and shoot-readyAssist with shoot preparation, including organizing garments, styling elements, and ensuring all assets are ready for executionStudio Operations & SupportAssist in setting up and breaking down photoshoot sets, including lighting, equipment, and styling elementsMaintain a clean, organized studio environment, including props, equipment, and accessoriesSupport the broader creative and marketing team with additional tasks and shoot-related needs as they ariseOperational ExcellenceStay organized across shoots, samples, and studio workflows, ensuring everything is prepared and ready for executionMaintain accurate tracking of samples, shoot lists, and image files to support smooth studio operationsCommunicate regularly with the Studio Manager and cross-functional partners to confirm shoot needs, priorities, and timelinesIdentify potential gaps or delays in sample readiness or shoot preparation and flag them proactivelyApproach work with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environmentTeam Collaboration & CultureContribute to a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive team environmentBuild strong working relationships with the creative, marketing, and sample coordination teamsDemonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a sense of urgency in meeting shoot deadlines and supporting team needsTake pride in maintaining a clean, organized studio and delivering high-quality work that reflects the brandWhat You BringKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesWorking knowledge of studio photography, including lighting, composition, and basic camera operationStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, particularly when managing samples, shoot lists, and image filesProactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to take direction and work independently when neededClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsPositive, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to support othersProficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom ClassicComfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy, organization, and professionalismTakes ownership of work, demonstrates reliability, and follows through on tasks consistently.Education & ExperienceAssociate's degree in photography, visual arts, design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience1-2 years of experience in photography, studio work, or a related creative environment (internships or freelance work considered)Experience with studio photography, including product (flat lay) and/or model shootsFamiliarity with fashion, e-commerce, or brand content creation preferredProficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom ClassicInterest in streetwear, fitness, or culture-driven brands, with an understanding of visual storytelling and brand aesthetics preferred.Physical & Mental DemandsThis role is primarily based in a studio environment with regular use of photography equipment, computers, and editing softwareAbility to stand for extended periods and move throughout studio, office, and on-location shoot environments as neededAbility to lift, carry, and move photography equipment, props, and product (up to 45 lbs), with or without reasonable accommodationVisual requirements include close vision, color accuracy, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for both shooting and editingAbility to work in varied environments, including studio settings, on-location shoots, and environments with changing lighting, noise levels, and temperaturesAbility to manage multiple tasks, shoot schedules, and deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environmentCapacity to maintain focus, attention to detail, and clear communication while working under time-sensitive conditionsFlexibility to work extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed during shoots or peak production periods.Travel RequirementsValid CA Driver's LicenseWhy You'll Love Working at CivilAt Civil Clothing we foster a collaborative, fast-moving environment where ownership is valued, ideas are welcomed, and execution matters.
