Mechanic / Shop Technician

Roelofsen Implement Inc. is a full line BRP dealership and is looking for a full-time shop technician. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8am - 5:30pm. Some Saturdays as needed.Abilities, and SkillsPerform repairs and maintenance on Ski Doo Snowmobiles, Can Am ATV's and Side by Side's, Sea Doo Personal Watercraft, , Spyder/Ryker Motorcycles, and Lawn Mowers.Diagnose engine and electrical issuesOperate/Learn how to look up parts using dealer management systemPerform warranty and recall workAccurately relate technician notes on each repair order.Education or on-the-job training in powersports plete selection of tools needed for daily work municate clearly with customers.Additional Talents Desired :1-2 years of experience as a technician in a shop setting is preferred, but not required.Knowledgeable with operating computers.Ability to work independently and also in a team environment.Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. minimum.Passion for the job and a desire to improve operations.Desire to establish a long term career with a growing company.Job Type: Full-timePay: $ $22.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Shop Technician: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location: In person
