Description: Supervise and direct daily plant operations activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient generation in compliance with regulatory and company standards. Lead, coach, and develop plant operators, including scheduling, performance management, training, and adherence to operating procedures. Oversee plant start-ups, shutdowns, normal and emergency operations to maintain system stability and maximize availability. Ensure strict compliance with environmental permits, NERC/FERC requirements (as applicable), OSHA regulations, and internal safety programs. Monitor plant performance metrics and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to address operational issues and improve reliability. Authorize and manage switching, tagging, and clearance procedures in accordance with established safety protocols and lockout/tagout standards. Maintain accurate shift logs, operational reports, and incident documentation to support effective communication and regulatory compliance. Support outage planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency, cost control, and long-term asset performance. #ENG1
