Production Manager

Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company's Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico. Astro Pak is looking for a Production Manager to lead our Florida Cleanroom operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about operational excellence. As the Production Manager, you will oversee production teams, drive improvements, and ensure we meet customer delivery, quality, and safety standards. Why This Role Is Exciting You'll have the opportunity to: Lead production operations in a high-tech cleanroom environment Build and develop high-performing teams Improve processes that support mission-critical industries Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, sales, and operations leadership What You'll Be Responsible ForOperations Leadership Manage daily and weekly production schedules Ensure on-time customer delivery and throughput goals Lead daily production coordination across cleanroom, pre-clean, and shipping teams Team Leadership Manage production supervisors, leads, and technicians Conduct coaching, development, and performance management Hire, onboard, and develop new team members Operational Excellence Drive improvements in efficiency, yield, and defect reduction Maintain organized, safe, and high-performing work environments Support time studies and cost improvement initiatives Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering, Quality, Estimating, and Sales teams Coordinate equipment downtime with Maintenance and Facilities Support customer visits and operational reviews Safety & Compliance Promote a strong safety culture Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree required (Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred) 3-5 years of leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or contract services Experience leading production teams in a technical or regulated environment Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) Understanding of operational metrics and financial performance Bonus if you have experience in: Cleanroom operations Precision cleaning Aerospace or semiconductor manufacturing Benefits In addition to highly employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision plans, Astro Pak offers competitive retirement savings and 401k plans, flexible spending, family leave, training and paid time off. #LI-AP Astro Pak Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
