Customer Support & CommunicationRespond to customer inquiries via phone and email quickly, accurately, and professionallyInbound Calls: 25–50+ per dayEmails: 50–100+ per dayAnswer questions about product availability, pricing, and shippingCreate and manage service cases, ensuring timely follow‑upProblem Solving & CoordinationResearch customer questions and use internal systems to deliver the best possible solutionCollaborate across departments to resolve customer requests, stated or impliedProvide real‑time transparency on orders, exceptions, and fulfillmentOwnership & InitiativeHandle both internal and external inquiries with confidenceAnticipate customer needs and proactively offer solutionsApply critical thinking and resourcefulness to find answers independentlyYou will report directly to the Supervisor of Customer Experience and play a key role in ensuring customers receive exceptional care with every interaction.What You BringMust‑Have Skills & Experience2+ years of customer service experience (product‑based company or KPI‑driven role preferred; no scripted call center environments)Experience with order entry in an ERP systemStrong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and general email communicationAbility to handle a high‑volume inbox and multitask effectivelyHigh school diploma or equivalentNice‑To‑Have ExperienceClaims or order‑issue processingCRM experience, especially Microsoft DynamicsHigh‑volume inbound phone experience (50+ calls/day)Microsoft Excel skillsKey Soft SkillsWe’re looking for someone who is:Independent and self‑driven – comfortable making decisions without constant directionResourceful – able to locate answers, check inventory, and troubleshoot on their ownDetail‑oriented – accuracy mattersProfessional and accountable – a positive team playerAn excellent written communicator – especially over emailJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tinley Park, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
