Precision Castparts Corp - - Responsibilities: Perform highly diversified duties to completely gate new or modified patterns; Use a variety of hand tools to repair supplied patterns; scrape and smooth surfaces, blend contours, remove bubbles, flash and other excess material, fill holes and cracks and perform other operations to prepare wax patterns for gating; Work from verbal and/or written instructions and, in some cases, concepts from engineering personnel to produce sample set-ups; Determine flask size as requested; properly rig pattern to fit specified flask; Submit completed unit for approval; follow up with setup and photograph unit as necessary to supply reference record
