Moves merchandise from a single unit to full cases of merchandise weighing up to 40lbs using a handheld computer/scanner. Prepares orders for shipment by selecting merchandise from shelves using a handheld computer/scanner then placing merchandise into bins and/or sorting merchandise weighing up to 30lbs into totes to prepare for shipment. Performs other functions within other departments in the DC, including but not limited to, Retail, QI/QAS, Freight, Receiving, Shipping, as well as other Direct Operation functions. Qualifications Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detail instructions. Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions. Attention to detail. Ability to be flexible and multi-task. Ability to work with people, collaboratively. Ability to make judgment calls on quality. Ability to adapt to change. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with good organization and time management skills. 0+ years of experience in a Distribution Center or similar environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to communicate by listening and verbally speaking with associates and managers, extensive standing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling and maneuvering within the Distribution Center floor. Required to be able to walk upstairs, Stooping, crouching, and kneeling and squatting.
