At Old Dominion we are looking for individuals to join the OD Family that will provide innovative solutions and exceed expectations to keep OD the premier transportation solutions provider.Responsible for examining and processing all leave of absence requests from beginning to end; to make determinations based on multiple state and federal regulations; and to ensure that on-going claim management is within company service standards and industry best practices.Primary ResponsibilitiesEstablish FMLA claims, track, and code documentation in accordance with internal workflow processesAnalyze FMLA claims to determine eligibility and certification in compliance with state and federal regulationsProvide timely and required communication to employees at the leave's commencement and throughout the duration of the leave including leave designation notices, medical certifications, letters, forms, required policies, etc.Conduct necessary follow-up with management and employees with respect to available leave, leave status and updates, work restrictions and required formsMaintain updated knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, both adopted and pending affecting employee leave process, including FMLA, ADAAA and DOL requirementsScan all documents that are received into imaging systemReview and prepare leave reportsProvide Service 2.OD to internal and external customersJob QualificationsEducation:High School diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree preferredExperience:1 year of disability management and/or FMLA administration experience requiredKnowledge of medical terminology preferredDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and work independentlyAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationWorking Days:Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Working Shift:AMWork Days and Shift are estimates and are subject to change, at any given time, based on job scheduling and/or business levels.
