Claims Analyst

Job Description Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for an Insurance Claims Analyst in Thomasville, GA. As an Insurance Claims Analyst for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will be working for an esteemed insurance company and be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing insurance claims to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reviewing and evaluating insurance claims for completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance. Investigating claims by gathering documentation, statements, and other relevant information. Communicating with policyholders, agents, providers, and third parties regarding claim status and requirements. Determining coverage eligibility and claim liability based on policy terms and conditions. Calculating benefit payments and coordinating claim settlements. Maintaining detailed and accurate claim files within the system. Running reports and preparing documentation for internal review or audit purposes. Assisting with escalated or complex claims as needed. Ensuring compliance with state regulations and company guidelines. Other job duties as assigned. Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and a track record of longevity in previous positions. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with customers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and claims management systems. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary service. Capacity to work independently and complete assignments within the parameters of given instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. A high school diploma or GED is required; associate degree preferred. Previous insurance or claims processing experience preferred. 8:00am-5:00pm | M-F | $16+/hr.
