Types of procedures required. Work ICU, Med-Surg, and after hours PACU Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EPIC charting, Omnicell, Philips monitors and telemetry, Philips defib, plum IV pumps with smart library, BiPap, ventilator Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years of experience, ICU trained, this nurse would be monitoring telemetry for acute care patients, cardioversions, PACU, management of continuous IV medications Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred), MN State RN license Shift or schedule requirements. Generally 12 hour day or night shifts, could be occasional 8 hour shifts. Weekend obligation is 2 weekends in a 6 week schedule. We would be interested in nurses willing to work extra weekends. Call is not required. The nurse would not work alone but can be the only ICU skilled nurse in house. There would be two Emergency Department nurses in house as well. Floating to other units/departments. Med-Surg; If traveler nurse has Obstetric (labor & delivery, antepartum, postpartum) or Emergency Department skills, we would utilize those skills as well. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. We are a 25 bed critical access hospital. We care for ICU, OB and Med-Surg patients Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. If ICU patient, ratio is 1:1 or 2:1; Med-Surg assignment, ratio is 1:3-5 patients Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs, pale palette for shirts under scrubs Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. 1 day Med-Surg, 1 day ICU
