What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity. * Document observations and report any security-related incidents or concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership. * Assist visitors, staff, and residents with security-related inquiries and directions as appropriate. * Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site policies. Minimum Requirements: * At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. * Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. * Access control or badge experience is preferred. * A guard card or license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
