Administers, analyzes, designs, tests, debugs, documents, reports, and maintains all technical and functional aspects of the application. Investigates, diagnoses, and resolves faults and errors in applications. Determines requirements of IS staff resources needed to complete plans. Installs and configures hardware and software, working closely with vendors. Establish plans for ongoing support and maintenance of project after "live". Effectively provides technical guidance for evaluation of software Maintains updated versions of applications. Meets with stakeholders to discuss current and future state needs Analyzes need for new applications to meet the organization's needs Monitors application for compliance to IT standards and policies. Assists in training staff on all aspects of the project including personal computers, desktop software, hardware, and software applications. Works closely with and helps train personnel in use of software. Helps department personnel in establishing a training environment. Administers reporting database, systems, and files necessary for the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of Hospital data. Maintains integrity of system databases. Maintains tables and database loads for a variety of systems. Assists in detail definition of system processing steps. Prepares and maintains documentation. Works with department personnel in solving problems requiring advanced system knowledge and understanding. Participates in department performance improvement initiatives. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding patient and strategic Health Group information Performs other duties as assigned Assists Information System management. Assists in gathering information for analysis. Prepares documentation, flow charts, form design, narratives, files layouts and file specifications when required. Reports status and progress of projects to management regularly May be on call to meet the needs of the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience. Three years experience in application management. Extensive understanding of clinical operations and workflows within a healthcare system desired. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) necessary to communicate effectively with associates at all levels. Flexible in work schedule to meet department needs.
