Maintenance Mechanic needed for a heavy industrial manufacturing plant! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform reactive and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. Must be proficient in hydraulics pneumatics, and motors, Must have heavy troubleshooting experience and ability to read schematics/blue prints. Basic welding expereince is preferred! You will work within CMMS systems, complete digital work orders, and uphold GMP and safety standards. Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts. Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments. Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders. Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Schedule & Pay- Shift: 3pm-11:30 or 11:30-7:30 Monday-Friday + lots of Saturday's and Sunday's. Work Environment This role operates in a manufacturing setting with both climate controlled and non climate controlled areas. Conditions may vary from hot to cold depending on the season, and some areas may be wet or humid. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tavares, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
