In this role, you'll work with advanced mobility and medical equipment-ensuring it is properly assembled, adjusted, and functioning safely for the individuals who rely on it every day.This position is ideal for someone with experience in DME/HME, equipment repair, automotive/mechanical work, or technical service roles who wants to apply those skills in a more meaningful, patient-focused environment.Key Responsibilities Transport, install, and configure rehabilitation and home medical equipment, including power and manual wheelchairs, beds, lifts, ramps, and custom seating systems Perform hands-on mechanical work, including assembly, alignment, adjustments, and part replacement Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using tools, mechanical knowledge, and basic electrical testing (AC/DC systems) Conduct routine preventative maintenance and safety inspections Partner with Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) and clinicians during equipment setups and fittings Instruct clients and caregivers on proper usage, operation, and safety Retrieve, sanitize, and recondition equipment according to company and regulatory standards Document service calls, repairs, and delivery details accurately Maintain service vehicle organization, tools, and inventory for efficient field operations Support warehouse activities, including equipment staging, repairs, and inventory controlWhat We Offer A role where your technical work directly improves patient mobility and independence Hands-on experience with specialized rehab and assistive technology equipment A collaborative team environment with ongoing learning opportunities Variety in your day-to-day work-field service, repairs, and client interaction A mission-driven culture focused on quality care and outcomesAdditional InformationThis is a field-based position requiring regular travel to homes, healthcare facilities, and clinical settings.
