Sawmill Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Technician - Sawmill Industry (Tappahannock, VA) O'Malley Timber is seeking a technically skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Tappahannock, VA facility. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and preferably, experience in the sawmill industry. Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities.Carry out preventative maintenance measures to reduce downtime.Troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Conduct welding, repairs, and installation of equipment as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Train to perform additional duties as required. Qualifications:Strong commitment to workplace safety.Knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, and sawmill equipment (preferred).Proficiency with technical machinery and tools.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.
