$120,000 - $140,000 - Plant ManagerBilingual English/Spanish is strongly encouraged Location: Tamaqua, PennsylvaniaSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (overtime until 6:00 PM as needed)Job OverviewManufacturing company is seeking a proven Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, and cost. This is an opportunity to lead a stable, established manufacturing operation with autonomy to make meaningful improvements and a direct impact on performance, culture, and growth.This role has full operational responsibility for the plant and plays a critical role in executing strategic initiatives while building a high-performance, accountable culture.The Plant Manager will oversee manufacturing, shipping, maintenance, and workforce development while ensuring compliance with safety standards and delivering consistent, on-time results for our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and optimize daily plant operations to consistently exceed customer expectationsDrive improvements in production capacity, flexibility, and asset utilization while controlling costs and maintaining quality standardsOwn accountability for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping performanceLead plant-wide safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, training, and facility standardsAllocate labor, equipment, and materials effectively to achieve operational excellenceExecute plant strategies aligned with company objectives, providing clear direction and measurable goalsMonitor operational performance and implement corrective actions as neededBuild, develop, and retain a strong leadership team while fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and engagement.Recruit, coach, and develop plant staff at all levelsAnalyze production, labor, and overtime data to identify waste, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunitiesDesign and maintain systems that track productivity, KPIs, performance metrics, and return on assetsAddress employee relations matters, including concerns and grievances, in a fair and timely mannerStay current on manufacturing best practices, lean principles, and production management trendsQualificationsBi-Lingual English/Spanish is strongly encouragedProven experience as a Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leaderStrong leadership background with demonstrated success managing teams and driving resultsSolid understanding of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resourcesHands-on familiarity with manufacturing equipment, production processes, and plant operationsWorking knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and demand management processesStrong computer literacy and comfort with production and performance reporting toolsAbility to establish accountability, lead by example, and influence at all levels of the organizationExcellent decision-making, problem-solving, and people management skillsBachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent Plant Manager experienceIf you have previous Plant Manager experience and are looking for a great company culture to continue building upon let's connect.
