Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine / Internal Medicine) VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System (VAFLHCS) Multiple Locations | Monday–Friday | Federal Contract Position Overview The VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System is seeking Board Certified / Board Eligible Primary Care Physicians (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to support 3.0 FTE coverage (6,240 hours annually) across multiple VA outpatient and medical center locations. The contract requires five (5) credentialed physicians who will rotate to maintain continuous coverage, with each provider completing a minimum of 120 consecutive workdays per rotation to ensure continuity of care and strong patient-provider relationships. This is an on-site, weekday-only role serving U.S. Veterans in a structured, team-based clinical environment. Provider Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive primary care services on-site Maintain compliance with VA clinic wait-time standards Provide consistent patient coverage during assigned rotations Coordinate care within an interdisciplinary VA care team Notify COR monthly of any barriers to performance metrics Minimum Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM) Active, unrestricted medical license DEA NPI AHA BLS & ACLS Ability to complete VA credentialing Occupational Health & Immunizations MMR (vaccine or titer) Hepatitis B (vaccine or titer) Varicella (vaccine or titer) TB test (skin test, bloodwork, or chest X-ray) Flu vaccine Tdap Submission Requirements One (1) PDF per candidate in the following order: Titan-Auxo cover page Signed Letter of Commitment Resume / CV Board Certification or Board Eligibility (ABFM or ABIM) Current BLS & ACLS DEA NPI OIG Exclusions Search Results
