Minimum Requirements Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.Minimum 2 years of SLP experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings. (Client required).Active Texas SLP license required to start the assignment. Compact licensure accepted where applicable. (Client required).Experience developing treatment plans for swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders and leading delivery of SLP services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Experience with dysphagia management, cognitive-communication therapy, and working with geriatric populations preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.Shift Name: Days.Shift Details: 8 hr days - 40 hrs guaranteed.Schedule Pattern: 5x8 days per week.Duration: 13 Week assignment.Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network if needed.
