Position SummaryMayzo is seeking a Corporate Account Manager with a strong background in adhesives and sealants to drive new business development and manage key customer relationships across the Eastern region. This role is highly focused on hunting new opportunities, expanding market share, and delivering customized additive solutions within adhesive applications.The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical knowledge and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate customer needs into value-driven solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive New Business and Growth OrientedIdentify, target, and win new business within the adhesives and sealants market Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans Build a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement Account ManagementManage and grow existing key accounts while expanding product penetration Strengthen long-term customer relationships and uncover cross-selling opportunities Technical Sales & Solution DevelopmentCollaborate with customers on formulation challenges and performance improvements Recommend additive solutions (e.g., antioxidants, UV stabilizers, photoinitiators, etc.) Partner with internal technical and product teams to deliver tailored solutions Market IntelligenceMonitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in adhesives Provide insights to support product development and strategic direction Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with marketing, product management, and operations teams Support product launches and commercialization efforts Target Markets / ApplicationsPressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA) Hot melt adhesives (HMA) Structural adhesives Sealants and construction adhesives Release CoatsIndustrial and specialty adhesive applications QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (preferred) 5-15+ years of experience in adhesives, polymers, or specialty chemicalsProven success in new business development Strong understanding of adhesive formulations and additive technologies Ability to travel 50-60% within US and CanadaExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Preferred ExperienceExperience selling into CASE markets (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) Existing network within adhesives manufacturers or formulators Background working with specialty additives or raw materialsSalesforce and CRM, and Microsoft ProductsWhat Success Looks LikeBuilds a strong pipeline within first 90-120 days Secures new customer wins and expands territory revenue Becomes a trusted advisor to customers on adhesive performance and formulation
