Import Export Coordinator

About the RoleWe're looking for a detail-oriented Import Export Coordinator to support and manage daily international shipping and trade compliance activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all import/export operations meet U.S. regulatory requirements while keeping shipments moving efficiently and accurately.If you thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and have a strong eye for compliance and documentation, this is a great opportunity to grow within a dynamic supply chain team.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate import and export shipments in compliance with U.S. Customs and trade regulationsPrepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation including commercial invoices, export manifests, and regulatory filingsVerify HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classifications and country of origin for accuracyMaintain accurate and auditable records within inventory and compliance systemsSupport weekly and monthly reporting, including export summaries and compliance trackingPartner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipmentsMonitor shipment timelines, resolve delays, and ensure documentation aligns with export declarationsAssist with trade compliance audits, corrections, and SOP documentationSupport continuous improvement of compliance processes and proceduresQualificationsAssociate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in import/export, trade compliance, or logisticsWorking knowledge of U.S. export regulations, CBP requirements, and ACE portalStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionallyExperience with bonded shipments/movements preferredFamiliarity with systems such as SAP or Descartes is a plusWork EnvironmentPrimary office location in Surprise, AZRegular travel required to Casa Grande, AZ (mileage reimbursed + travel incentives)Collaborative, fast-paced logistics and compliance environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay: $22-$25/hour (DOE)Mileage reimbursement travel bonus program15+ paid holidays annuallyGenerous PTO + vacation rollover policy8 hours PTO during your birthday month ??40 hours paid sick leaveMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) eligibility after 1 yearWhy Join Us?Join a team where your work directly impacts global operations and compliance.
