Trust Account Management Officer Are you an experienced banking professional with a passion for building lasting relationships? We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage trust and investment accounts, focusing on both private and corporate clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. JD and/or Master's degree preferred. 5-7 years of relevant trust administration experience. Must be a strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Certifications such as CTFA, CFP, CFA, or CES are preferred. Deep knowledge of trust investments and experience with brokerage or alternative delivery of trust services. Responsibilities: Manage trust account servicing, including regular account reviews and discretionary distribution assessments while fostering relationships with advisers, clients, and attorneys. Assist in conducting legal research and interpreting governing documents, including Wills and Trusts. Actively contribute to Trust Administrative Sub-Committee meetings and perform annual account reviews. Ensure effective servicing and retention of trust accounts. Oversee the establishment and funding of new trust accounts. Collaborate with advisers, internal trust teams, attorneys, accountants, and family members to facilitate the timely settlement of estates. Review documentation related to dis-positive provisions, manage final expense payments, and prepare materials for tax returns. Coordinate the preparation of trust tax returns and Agency letters with an accountant, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Propose and implement innovative policies for process improvements. Lead or participate in projects as a subject matter expert, including IRA development and system enhancements.
