Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Vascular Surgery-NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens/Locum-To-Perm • Facility Location: Suffolk, VA • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 830a-430p - 3 days/week (required) • Call Schedule: 2-3 nights per week • Patient Volume: Ave. of 18-20 • Patient Demographics: Adult & Geriatric • Support Staff: 1 perm provider with long-term locums rotating throughout practice. • Supervising Physician Available: Yes • Duties: - Will be working autonomously. - Pre-Op Physical Exams, Suture Removal, Diagnose Illnesses, Treat Illnesses, Order Tests, Interpret Tests, Write Prescriptions, Coordination of Care. • Procedures: - Vascular Surgery, Endovascular Surgery Procedures and Treatments & Endovascular Therapy: - Aneurysm repairs, abdominal/thoracic/arterial bypass, peripheral & vascular access devices, AV shunt. - Carotid Artery Stenting, bypass surgery, Femoral popliteal bypass, aortofemoral bypass, stenting, endovenous laser therapy treatment, radiofrequency ablation. • No. of ORs: 2 CVT/6 main ORs • EMR: Epic • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active VA License • BC (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA) • BLS/ACLS • Clean record • Not a new grad
