Accounting Clerk

Marine Ventures International, Inc. (MVI) is looking for a part-time Accounts Receivable clerk in our Stuart, FL office. MVI is a marine engineering and technical service firm that provides a wide array of marine services worldwide. Duties and Responsibilities Project accounting experience helpful but not required Accounts receivable data entry Support accounts receivable processing Reconcile GL balances, job cost, and journal entries. Perform certain month-end close responsibilities as assigned within the timeframe of the close process. Receive and process customer payments in a timely manner Prepare basic project-level financial summaries for Federal customers Other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint Must have flexibility and the ability to multi-task priorities Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner Good organizational and time management skills Strong working knowledge of computers and standard software packages Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a 20/hr per week part-time position Monday through Friday. Specific hours are flexible. Travel Travel is not expected for this position.
