The Department of Medicine Division of General Internal Medicine delivers high-quality, patient-centered primary care services with a strong emphasis on medical education at both the undergraduate (UME) and graduate (GME) levels.Opportunity:Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) Provider to join the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal MedicineProvide comprehensive primary and preventative care to adult patients in an outpatient settingDiagnose and manage acute illnesses, infections, and injuries, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart diseasePerform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic testing, prescribe and manage medications, and develop evidence-based treatment plansCollaborate with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of careEducate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and wellnessTeaching and mentorship opportunities available within the university's medical education programsEMR system utilized for all documentation and care coordinationCompensation: $125,000- 135,000-Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, paid time off, and eligibility for state benefits.
