Heavy Equipment Operator/Demolishion

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Demolition Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling structures, preparing sites for new construction, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesSafely demolish buildings and structures using appropriate tools, machinery and techniques.Remove debris and hazardous materials from job sites.Operate hand tools and power tools effectively, including saws, drills, excavators and torches.Prepare job sites by setting up necessary equipment and ensuring safety measures are in place.Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.Perform tasks related to removing old machinery, old electrical gear, operating excavators with shears, magnets, grapples and using cutting torches.SkillsProficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to demolition work.Knowledge of construction techniques including roof removal and concrete finishing.Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and efficiency on job sites.Familiarity with site restoration processes is a plus.Join our team as a Demolition Worker where your skills will contribute significantly to our projects while ensuring a safe working environment.
