Dental Hygienist – Boutique Dental Practice – West Harrison, NY 10604Our well-established, boutique dental practice in West Harrison, NY is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team full-time. Many of our team members have been with us for over a decade, and we are looking for someone who wants a long-term home where they can grow and thrive.Schedule• Monday – Thursday• 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM• Full-time positionDuties & ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties• Perform dental cleanings including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing• Conduct periodontal assessments and charting• Take and interpret dental radiographs in compliance with regulations• Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants• Identify signs of oral disease and communicate findings to the dentist• Escalate patient care when clinically appropriate• Velscope experience is a plus (training available)Patient Education• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care• Reinforce treatment plans and provider recommendations• Provide post-treatment care instructionsClinical Support & Compliance• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols• Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flowRequirements• Active Dental Hygienist license in New York• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental setting• Strong understanding of periodontal disease and when to escalate care• Current CPR/BLS certification• Ability to administer local anesthesia• Experience with dental software (Eaglesoft a plus)• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Excellent clinical precision and attention to detail• Patient-centered and compassionate approach• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Strong organization and time management skillsWork Environment• Boutique dental practice setting• High-quality, patient-focused care environment• Prolonged standing and fine motor skill use required/Compensation & Benefits• $58.00 – $65.00 per hour (based on experience)• Health insurance• Dental benefits• Retirement plan• PTO and sick pay• Supportive, collaborative team environmentIf you are a motivated hygienist looking for a long-term opportunity in a practice that truly values clinical excellence and patient relationships, we encourage you to apply today.Benefits:Medical, Dental, 401k, PTOCompensation:$58-$65/hour
