Location is negotiable and hybrid option available. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Train departmental staff on program rules and regulations. Design, coordinate and provide classroom and specialized training to staff. Document and report staff progress to supervisors. Analyze, research, and interpret county, state and federal policy and law. Provide leadership, team development, and case consultation to staff. Assign and schedule work; mentor and develop staff. Participate in the selection and hiring of staff. Review work of staff to ensure program compliance. Complete and respond to quality control and assurance reviews, including the development of corrective action plans. Assist the supervisor in the day-to-day management of work. Provide work direction in absence of supervisor. Work with customers and stakeholders to understand concerns and resolve complaints. Evaluate designated programs, policies and procedures to improve or enhance operations. Coordinate statistical report preparation and data analysis. Evaluate legal and case records, client statements, risk factors, regulatory and statutory requirements to help guide determinations, uphold agency actions in appeals or present the County's positions in administrative/court hearings and functions. Collaborate with county/state staff and vendors in the development and improvement of technology. Manage access to technology systems. Serve on internal and external committees and multi-disciplinary teams. Wrist and finger manipulation due to filing, compiling, calculating, or computer work. Equipment used will include computer, typewriter, calculator, telephone, copy/fax machine and others. Exposures may include but be not limited to disagreeable odors, communicable diseases, bodily fluids, difficult and challenging behaviors.
