Seasonal Summer Security Officer $18 Per HourEmployment Type: Seasonal (May 1 – November 11)Pay Rate: $18.00 per hourJob OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and observant Seasonal Security Officer to join our team for the summer and fall season. This role involves mobile patrol duties, securing buildings, and maintaining accurate activity logs using company-provided tools. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and able to work independently during evening and nighttime hours.ScheduleMonday – Friday: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM (25 hours/week)Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM 12 Hours/Week)Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine patrols and security rounds of assigned location/areaLock and unlock designated buildings according to scheduleDrive a company vehicle safely between sitesUse a company-issued cellphone to log daily activity and complete reportsMonitor for suspicious activity and report incidents promptlyEnsure all assigned areas are secure and properly maintained during roundsRequirementsValid driver’s license (required)Good driving record Strong attention to detail and observational skillsDependable, punctual, and able to follow schedules consistentlyComfortable working independently and during evening/night hoursBasic familiarity with smartphone use for logging/reportingPreferred QualitiesPrior security or patrol experience (not required but a plus)Professional and responsible demeanorPass background checkMust pass on-site drug test at time of hireMust be 18 years of age or olderMust possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.Strong attention to detailMust be able to be professional in all settings, have open communication with Operations Manager and be able to learn quickly.Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license.Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.  Must not have any felonies.Per Mar is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity EmployerWork with the best!
