Summary: This role involves analyzing and implementing various projects such as process time studies, work standards, ABC inventory management, Par Analysis, and performance improvement initiatives. The coordinator oversees supply chain product recalls and ensures smooth logistics operations. Major Responsibilities: Review and balance technician daily assignment schedules to optimize workload and set standards. Assess and prioritize tasks to manage unforeseen variables and resolve arising issues. Utilize inventory management systems to conduct quality assurance assessments and communicate findings to the team. Lead logistics setup for new healthcare locations, including coordination of courier services, medical supply stocking, and collaboration with buyers. Ensure adequate availability of medical supplies and equipment to meet facility needs. Provide training support alongside the Logistics Training Coordinator, ensuring employees are competent and training records are maintained accurately. Track and analyze productivity standards for all supply chain team members. Perform daily quality assurance checks related to supply order selection, delivery, restocking, and sanitation. Participate in data analysis and implementation of inventory aggregation and supply optimization. Operate manual and battery-operated pallet jacks and assist with material movement between facilities, including driving box trucks with lift gates. Perform other duties as assigned. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business or Operations Management or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience: 2-5 years of experience with inventory or supply chain logistical applications preferred. Skills and Abilities: Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of central supply daily activities and routines. Physical Requirements: Visual acuity for working with delicate instruments, manual dexterity for handling and lifting items up to 60 pounds, ability to push carts weighing up to 400 pounds, and endurance for long periods of standing. This position serves a diverse healthcare region in the Southeastern United States, supporting multiple hospitals and clinics across a multi-county area.
