Electrician A

Install and maintain all the electrical systems of the Hospital in an efficient and professionalmanner. Maintains and repairs electrical systems and equipment including such items asswitches, panel boxes, controls fixtures, motors and associated electrical equipment. Sizes andplaces electrical equipment into wire ways terminating with proper splices and connections. Inspects and tests electrical systems for defects. Job Responsibility - Help to maintain and repair all electrical and electronic installations including highvoltage services, panel boards, distribution systems, transformers, relays,switches, cable and conduit. - Utilizes knowledge of NYC Electrical Code requirements to help keep necessaryrecords of tests performed as per code requirements. - Carry out work order assignments, complete preventive maintenance work sheets.
