Program DirectorA healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Director to lead an Adult Day Care program located in Staten Island, NY.Position Summary:The Program Director will oversee a comprehensive Adult Day Care program dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centered services grounded in the social model of care. This leadership role is responsible for fostering a supportive and engaging environment that promotes social interaction, well-being, and independence for all participants.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and oversee programs that promote social engagement and community involvement.Monitor program performance and implement data-driven improvements.Establish and maintain policies consistent with the social model of care.Lead, mentor, and supervise staff, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.Conduct performance evaluations and coordinate ongoing staff training.Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and families.Represent the program at external meetings and community events.Oversee budget management and resource allocation to ensure program sustainability.Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants.Analyze program data and prepare reports to support strategic planning.Advocate for participant needs within the broader community and healthcare system.Stay current on industry trends and best practices in adult day care services.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field preferred.Prior experience managing programs in adult day care or social services preferred.Strong understanding of the social model of care and applicable regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders.Proficiency with data management and reporting tools.
