Opportunity This is a premier lifestyle-focused opening for an Anesthesiologist to join an established, stable practice located just 45 minutes south of State College, PA. This unique role features a highly desirable 1 week on/1 week off schedule , effectively providing 26 weeks of time off per year to enjoy the scenic beauty of Central Pennsylvania. The practice manages a diverse and rewarding caseload including general surgery, orthopedics, OB, and ophthalmology, all within a supportive environment where new graduates are actively encouraged to apply! . Responsibilities Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for a caseload including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics (OB), and Ophthalmology . Perform pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Manage intraoperative anesthesia, including general and regional techniques as required. Oversee post-operative recovery and pain management protocols. Participate in a flexible call rotation with the benefit of infrequent call-backs. Collaborate effectively with the surgical and nursing staff to ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board Certification or Eligibility (ABA) in Anesthesiology. New graduates are highly encouraged to apply! Current unrestricted medical license in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility for licensure). Proficiency in general anesthesia and obstetric anesthesia (epidurals and C-sections). Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
