We aspire to develop social change agents with the knowledge, skills, and experience to compassionately engage with their future employers, peers and those they serve from diverse backgrounds.Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be prepared to teach in an in-person, on-campus format, a required array of courses including Introduction to Management, Organizational Theory and Behavior, Human Resources Management, Business and Society, and Strategic Management for both Business Management and Accounting majors and minors and others. The teaching load is four 4 credit courses per academic semester. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental activities and campus-wide service, maintaining an active record of professional industry engagement, and pursuing ongoing professional development.The Business Management Department consists of 5 full-time faculty plus several adjunct faculty and more than 275 majors, 150 shared majors, and 100 minors. Our faculty members work closely with local businesses through our internships, community workshops, and service-learning projects. We are located at the academic center of campus, close to Keene's Main Street, a lively downtown area with restaurants and boutiques that is the heart of the Monadnock Region's vibrant and diverse economy.Faculty serve as academic advisors to Business Management and Accounting majors.Faculty actively engage in collaborative work and service within the department and across the College to advance future-thinking curricular and co-curricular approaches that strengthen our scholar-practitioner focus and achieve the College's goals for inclusion and excellence as outlined in the College's Strategic Plan.Minimum Acceptable Education & ExperienceMaster's Degree - Management or Business Administration or EquivalentPrior College Teaching Experience - 2 years' minimumRelevant Industry Experience - 2 years' minimumRequired Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesCollege TeachingLearning Management System (Canvas desired)CollaborationMS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Academic Library ResourcesOther RequirementsOur faculty members have a long history of working closely with local businesses through our internships, community workshops, and service-learning projects.
