Job Description:
We are seeking an accredited Holistic Therapist to join our private inpatient service, specialising in mental health and addiction treatment. This is a sessional role focused on delivering therapeutic group interventions that support patients' wellbeing, emotional regulation, and recovery. You will facilitate a weekly holistic therapy group as part of a structured multidisciplinary programme, with opportunities to provide additional cover during staff absence. This role is well suited to a practitioner who is confident working within a clinical environment and experienced in supporting individuals with complex needs. Bristol Hospital (Stapleton, M32) is a Grade II listed building set within extensive grounds, located less than three miles from Bristol city centre with free on-site parking. The hospital provides 77 beds across seven wards, offering a wide range of services including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorder services, acute care, and rehabilitation and recovery programmes. What you'll be doing Using approaches such as Reiki, sound therapy, reflexology, or similar, you will provide therapeutic interventions that support patients' wellbeing, adapting sessions for complex needs within a safe and supportive environment. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and provide additional group cover where required. Candidates must hold relevant professional accreditation (including HCPC where applicable), have experience with complex presentations, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safe, ethical practice. An up-to-date DBS, professional indemnity insurance, regular supervision, and ongoing professional development are essential.
