Now Hiring CNC Operator Staples, MN Pay Rate: $20.00 $25.00 per hour (Depending on experience) Shift: Weekends | Friday Sunday | 6 AM 6 PM Looking for CNC Operator openings in Staples where craftsmanship still counts? This shop runs on pride, patience, and performance. What It Takes to Master the Machines as a CNC Operator Minimum 1 year of CNC machine operation experience. Associate degree or technical training preferred, or equivalent work experience. Ability to read blueprints, engineering plans, and safety documentation. Strong math skills (fractions, geometry, ratios, proportions). Experience with forklifts is a plus. Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, crouching, and climbing. What Your Workday Looks Like Produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines. Set up and operate manual machines as needed. Read work orders, blueprints, and specifications to plan machining operations. Apply a basic understanding of GD&T to ensure accuracy and precision. Program mills, lathes, and/or EDMs; set tool registers, offsets, and reference points. Verify machine settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces. Perform drilling, grooving, turning, facing, and other machining operations while maintaining quality standards. Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot processes, and make necessary adjustments. Document and communicate actions across shifts to ensure continuity. Maintain equipment, a clean workspace, and adherence to safety and quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).
