Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Position Overview: As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will navigate daily routes with multiple stops, loading and unloading packages using hand trucks. You will be responsible for efficiently picking up loaded trucks from a designated loading dock and returning empty trucks at the end of the day. Occasionally, you may assist with loading trucks and palletizing products as directed by your Supervisor or Manager. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently run delivery routes, achieving or surpassing designated timeframes. Unload products from trucks manually or with hand carts, ensuring they are placed in the appropriate designated storage areas. Frequently lift and transport products weighing between 1 and 75 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds, while navigating ramps, stairs, and docks in various weather conditions. Verify delivery of items with customers to obtain necessary signatures and promptly report discrepancies on invoices to management. Handle customer complaints in a professional manner, ensuring a positive service experience. Adhere to safety protocols by properly managing company equipment and conducting pre-trip inspections according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of one year of route delivery experience or relevant driving experience. A valid Driver's License. Must have the ability to read and understand English. Skills Required: Ability to operate a vehicle under various traffic and weather conditions. Meet or exceed established productivity levels set by the company. Demonstrate excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Effectively plan and organize work autonomously. Develop a strong understanding of product and inventory control practices. Maintain effective communication across departments regarding routing, safety, and customer relationships. Proven communication skills and basic arithmetic proficiency (experience handling cash is a plus). Possess strong organizational and adaptability skills. Build trust and loyalty with customers through effective follow-up communication.
