We are looking for a dynamic Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team and help us advance our mission throughout Central MN.Position Overview: The Marketing & Communications Specialist will lead the strategy and activities to promote BBBS's brand, drive community involvement, and support our mission. This role focuses on external communications, volunteer recruitment, donor cultivation, and special events. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for making a difference.Key Responsibilities:Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the agency's brand and messaging in line with BBBS of America guidelines.External Communications: Develop and disseminate communications such as email newsletters, donor assets, marketing collateral, press releases, and the annual report.Marketing Campaigns: Design and execute targeted campaigns for volunteer recruitment, special events, and corporate sponsorships.Website Management: Ensure the agency's website is up-to-date and consistent with branding.Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to increase visibility and engagement on social media platforms.Event Coordination: Coordinate the annual online silent auction and raffle ticket sale, managing event logistics.Media and Vendor Relations: Cultivate relationships with media partners, contractors, and vendors, negotiating costs and mittee Leadership: Lead the Marketing Committee, facilitating meetings and collaboration.Budget Management: Assist in developing and tracking budgets, including financial reporting.Promotional Items Management: Manage promotional items and the BBBS online storefront.Presentations: Deliver presentations to promote the agency's mission and tern Supervision: Supervise interns, providing guidance and support.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED required; related degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of three years in marketing and communications or transferable skills.Skills:Strategic thinking and business acumenStrong written, social media, and in-person communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, WordPress, and social media platformsAbility to work in a team environment and adapt to shifting prioritiesAccess to transportation and a valid driver's licenseCore Competencies:Creativity & InnovationCustomer FocusResults-OrientedRelationship BuildingFlexibility & Achieving ChangeInfluencingPlanning & OrganizingStrategic AlignmentValuing Diversity and CultureWork Environment: Routine office environment with flexible work hours to meet agency needs.
