Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)Ensure high standards of customer service are applied at all timesTransport clients to and from group and occasional appointmentsBe aware of and follow all safety practices/risk assessments at all timesAttend any relevant team meetings and/or training to support continued professional developmentEffective time management skillsAbility to be flexible and work as part of a teamUnderstanding of working in a confidential mannerTransport passengers in a safe and responsible mannerEnsure that vehicles are cleaned on a regular basis (inside and out)Inspect the vehicle daily and report any defects or damage to supervisor; as well as coordinate all maintenance of vehicles in a timely mannerOpen and effective communication with Lead Transportation Specialist, Clinical staff and Nursing staff to coordinate effective and efficient transportation for clientsAdherence to Northstar Transportation Services policies and proceduresStrong observational skills - pay attention to clients and have the ability to take control of any situationEnsure all passengers in the vehicle are compliant, safe and nonvolatileRemain responsible for company gas cards and receiptsEnsure vehicles have a minimum of a half a tank of gas by end of dayMaintain proper boundaries with clientsEnsure first aid kit and emergency kits are fully stockedPerform secretarial duties in between transportsEnsure site cleanlinessAll other duties as assigned by the Lead Transportation Specialist and/or Director of Outpatient Requirements:First Aid / CPR Certified or willing to become certified within 30 days of hireMust be 21 years or olderHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.Must have a driver's licenseAcceptable driving recordSubstance free for at least 2 years Compensation details: 18-18 Hourly Wage PI70fbb02907c7-29400-33965809
