NOW HIRING!Metal Building IndustrySR Structural Design Engineer, PE We're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join an established design team working on hybrid pre-engineered metal and fabric building systems. This role blends hands-on technical design with leadership development and is ideal for someone ready to step into a future engineering management position.Key Responsibilities Lead and perform structural design of pre-engineered and hybrid building systems using MBS. Develop calculations, certification packages, and letters of compliance. Collaborate with detailing, project management, and installation teams. Provide technical support to estimating for special design conditions. Work directly with sales engineers and customers to solve design challenges. Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer as senior staff retire. Participate in cross-functional design and coordination meetings. Required Experience Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer (minimum one state, multi-state capability preferred). 5+ years' experience in PEMB design and engineering. Proficiency with MBS design software. Familiarity with RISA and general structural analysis tools. Strong communication skills and ability to interface across departments. Willingness to relocate and work onsite full-time. Nice to Have Background in sales engineering or customer-facing technical roles. Leadership or mentorship experience. Work Setup & Compensation Onsite role based in Minnesota.
