We are seeking a Senior Corporate Systems Architect who is energized by modernizing enterprise technology, shaping long-term architecture strategy, and influencing leaders across the organization. In this role, you will have exposure to decision-makers across the company and serve as a thought leader within a highly innovative IT team. You will report directly to the Vice President of Information Technology and play a critical role in advancing our digital foundation as we scale and evolve. This is a hybrid position, with regular on-site collaboration at our St. Cloud, Minnesota headquarters, balanced with the flexibility to work remotely. What You Will DoLeadership and Collaboration Lead architectural visioning for enterprise infrastructure across remote and multi-site environments Translate emerging technologies, including AI, into clear business value for senior leadership Partner closely with IT Operations, Business Applications, and Business Relationship Management teams to deliver integrated, scalable solutions Serve as a strategic advisor on infrastructure planning, talent needs, resource allocation, and cybersecurity Infrastructure Strategy and Architecture Define and maintain the enterprise technology roadmap aligned with business growth Design secure, scalable, and cost-efficient architectures across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments Standardize platforms and components to improve efficiency and reduce complexity Lead architecture strategy for major initiatives such as AI enablement, disaster recovery upgrades, and digital modernization Produce clear architectural documentation, diagrams, and specifications for technical teams and stakeholders Cloud, Data Center, and Networking Drive multi-cloud strategy and architecture across AWS and Azure Oversee modernization of data center, virtualization, compute, and storage environments Architect resilient, high-performance network solutions including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and VPN Collaborate with engineers and service partners to optimize system performance and reliability Design cybersecurity architecture using best practices such as Zero Trust, segmentation, and risk-based security modeling in partnership with the vCISO and IT Operations Vendor and Technology Management Lead evaluation and selection of infrastructure technologies, tools, and service providers Manage vendor relationships, including RFPs, negotiations, and performance assessments Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform future-state architecture decisions Emerging Technologies and Innovation Evaluate next-generation AI technologies to enhance reliability, resilience, and efficiency Identify opportunities to automate, modernize, and streamline infrastructure systems Provide strategic recommendations that align innovation with long-term business goals, including AI and intelligent automation Who Thrives Here Technical excellence matters, but mindset matters even more. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field required; Master's preferred 7+ years of experience in IT Operations 5+ years of leadership experience driving cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide initiatives Deep hands-on expertise across multiple IT Operations domains Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert required SD-WAN and Azure experience required Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Who We Are Microbiologics is a global leader in biological products, control materials, and assay services.
