SAIC is seeking an experienced Personnel Security Specialist to support NGA's Office of Security. This individual will be required to operate in a diverse security environment.This program can quickly adjudicate a polygraph for selected candidates with an active TS/SCI. An active TS/SCI is required in order to be considered for this role.This position will be responsible for the following: Provide case management support to established PERSEC programsSupport the execution and maintenance of the day-to-day customer PERSEC programs through case management initiativesProvide agency level technical expertise concerning the personnel security disciplines and standard operating procedures in support of case management initiativesPrepare, support, and administer PERSEC program briefings, as neededPrepare, write, and present reports/whitepapers, various forms of correspondence, as requiredResearch, prepare, and maintain security procedures/guidance in support of case managementBrief customer leadership and other customer KC's regarding the program requirements and regulations in support of case management initiativesAppropriately and accurately maintain and update databases and files (ex: PeopleSoft security system of records, SharePoint Pages, internal file folders, etc.) with data entry in a timely manner/real time related to case management initiatives, as neededRespond in a timely manner to all telephone and/or email actions, questions, or status inquiresAssist in maintaining distribution lists for customers to contact PERSEC for case management initiatives, as needed/requiredBring case management initiatives issues to the attention of the government Team LeadsAssist the government PERSEC team to help in developing recommendations for improvementProvide service excellence in guidance and resolution to internal and external customers' questions and inquiries in a timely manner for support to their programsUtilizes a variety of security concepts, principles and practices to analyze and recommend solutions for difficult and complex security issuesDocument and provide Weekly Activity Report (WAR) actions in the designated template and timeline to the Government LeadMonitor all case progress to ensure cases are completed within IRTPA/DNI mandatesManage assignment, tracking, reporting and prioritization of cases as specified by the GovernmentAccurately create the DNI Quarterly Metrics reports and deliver for review at least three business days prior to the external suspensePrepare the monthly metrics slides with all required information and deliver to customer leadership by the seventh business day of the monthElevate issues and proposed solutions to bottlenecks precluding achievement of metricsMaintain all tracking reports and status reports in PERSEC Drive shared files, with the latest revision in the external folder, and historical records maintained in an archive folderMaintain metrics slides and reports in the PERSEC shared files on COE and SBU, as appropriate based on classification levelEnsure all case data entry is current and accurate in the PeopleSoft Investigations and Adjudication ModulesInspect and document that all folders are clearly marked and easily searchable; using the document mapping criteria provided by the Investigations and Adjudications Branch ChiefsReceive and process Electronic Deliveries (eDels) from customer Investigation Service Provider to respective branchesProcess and maintain all customer personnel electronic fingerprinting in accordance with customer policy and procedures and RapBack enrollment/maintenance guidelinesCoordinate to obtain ink fingerprinting if electronic capturing is unavailableProcess Other Government Agency File Procurement Request for National Agency Checks (NAC) QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:Active TS/SCI requiredAbility to obtain a polygraphBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field to personnel securityGeneral knowledge of/experience in personnel security (3-6 years) in the DOD/ICAttention to detail when applying personnel security case management methodologiesSignificant experience with Microsoft SuiteDemonstrated experience in clear and concise writing skillsExcellent organizational skills to ensure meeting required timelines and Federal Investigative Standards quality standardsSAIC is a premier technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets.
