Key Skills and Qualifications: Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) with current licensure in OhioMinimum of 2 years of experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery, or critical care settingsProficiency in patient assessment, test interpretation, and medication prescribingStrong knowledge of EMR systems, preferably EpicAbility to perform patient care coordination, rounding, and assist with surgical procedures when neededExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to handle a fast-paced environment with flexibility for OR and ICU/CVICU call responsibilitiesNice to Have Skills: Experience with vein harvesting and vascular tissue retrievalPrior experience working in adult and geriatric patient populationsFamiliarity with hospital credentialing processes and emergency response protocolsPreferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master s Degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN)Previous employment in cardiothoracic or vascular surgical unitsDemonstrated ability to obtain temporary privileges within 45 daysOther Requirements: Willingness to cover scheduled shifts from April through July, with specific dates to be confirmedCredentialing timeframe of 60-90 daysNo requirement for new grads; this role suits experienced providersMust be able to participate in OR call and ICU/CVICU call dutiesThis is a fantastic opportunity to enrich your professional portfolio while supporting vital surgical care services.
