Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Stepdown Qualified RN - Observation Unit Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday Beds: 10-bed Patient Ratios: 1:5 (subject to change based on staffing availability) Patient Population  Adults (18-64 years) Geriatrics (65 years and older) Required Certifications Must be attached at submission: BLS ACLS NIHSS Minimum Experience Requirements  1 year of RN experience Preferred:  6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting Neuro experience Required Skills  Dysrhythmia Exam (Required) Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills Preferred Skills  Management of patients with multi-system organ failure and/or trauma Advanced respiratory modalities Charting SystemCharting: EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training (preferred)   About Trustaff Our nurse-first attitude has set us apart from other travel nursing agencies When you join the Trustaff family, you’re more than just a body filling a role—you're a vibrant individual with dreams and aspirations.
